POETIC LICENSES

Poets Alert.....we're being 'put out of business'.........This Poem, 'THE FACE OF ART', was written by a computer, in 3 seconds~ I think the Human Race will be obsolete within a hundred or two years........welcome....or not.....SKYNET Ver, 54, Model 82, aka. POET.....master of metaphor and simile..... featuring 'creative' sub-routines that keep it busy, during its nanoseconds of 'wait time'.......writing 400 lines of 'better than amateur' poetry per second...... Nevertheless, I have a couple of friends who are 'diligent' poetry-writers, whose 'poetry' is even worse......When in high school I cranked out some junk in dactyllic hexameter, imagining I was....then.....a great poet.......they have, since, been  immolated in an old oil barrel.......I've retained a bit of the 'stuff' I wrote, during college days, just to remind me not to take myself so seriously....Yet, listening to NPR while making b'fast.....self-...
